“A Flock of Shoes” is flying all the way to Korea. Just released with Annick Press, Tsiang’s book has already been picked up by Book 21 publishing group, and is slated to be translated and released in Korea this year.
“A Flock of Shoes” received a starred review from Quill & Quire, which wrote “Sarah Tsiang’s text … is descriptive and punchy, and it perfectly complements the fun watercolour illustrations by … Qin Leng.” Neilson Education has also picked up the book to distribute in schools as part of their literacy line. Tsiang also has three new books schedueled for release in 2011, two children’s books with Annick Press and a book of poetry, Sweet Devilry with Oolichan Press.
