Blue Spruce, Quill and Quire, and Warriors

A quick update on everything that’s been happening lately! A Flock of Shoes has been nominated for the Blue Spruce Award, which is of course, hugely exciting. Just the thought of all those kids reading A Flock of Shoes gives me shivers of delight. Dogs Don’t Eat Jam and Other Things Big Kids Know just received a starred review from Quill and Quire, and here’s another great review, just for good measure: from Perogies & Gyoza.

And now, drum roll please, it’s just about time to unveil the new book: Warriors and Wailers, 100 Ancient Chinese Jobs You Might Have Relished Or Reviled (this book has my longest title and my best poop jokes)

I’ve made a new year’s resolution to update this blog weekly, so look ahead to some new content including teaching aids, updates on readings, and other brilliant things I haven’t thought up yet.
